My League Manager add-on is crashing my website. Is this caused by the fact that League Manager has updated to 2.10, but my add-on is only version 2.9? Is there an update available, if so where? I have purchased the new upload, but it is only 2.9…

        Hi Mike,
Thank you for renewing and posting here. I assume you are referencing League Manager Addons, not the free version of League Manager (if not please advise).

I do not believe the problem is the version of LM Addons. As I recall, your site is running PHP 8.0 and that is the problem. I am in the process of re-testing all the MSTW plugins on PHP 8 (My test server is running 8.0.22 at the moment). I am finishing MSTW Schedules & Scoreboards right now. MSTW League Manager and the Addons are next on the list. I do not know how long the re-testing will take. I hope not long. Most of the issues are simple deprecated constructs/syntax that stop WP, but are easy to fix. Some turn out to be quite nasty though.

In the meantime, the only work-around I can offer is to back down to PHP 7.x. I am confident that will solve your problems.

I wlll post on this thread and post on shoalsummitsolutions.com (which will generate e-mail if you are signed up) when this is corrected.

        Regards,

I also have this issue. However I cannot rollback my PHP because I use a wordpress hosted site. Has any progress been made to run on PHP 8?

          Hi Jason,
Sorry for the delayed response. My website is having a few e-mail issues that I can’t find time to fix. Really annoying. Sorry.

I’m running MSTW League Manager 2.10 on PHP 8 on my local test box. If it does you any good, I can give you a beta of that (off the top of my head, I’m not certain how many changes were made from the released version on WordPress.org).

I’ve not had time to fully test the Add-ons. I hope to get to it soon.
