Our local high school football league uses a complicated formula to award power points to our teams to rank them.
I don’t expect League Manager to be able to accommodate entering that formula, however, is it possible to manually override the total points in the Update Records screen?
We would like the plugin to keep track of wins, losses, points for, and points against, however we would like to be able to enter our own total points (then sort by total points) based on the power points formula provided by the league.

I believe the solution to situations like this is to NOT auto update the standings. Then you can manually enter whatever Records you want. (I haven’t checked if the points are calculated automatically, but they should not be.) You can also order teams by Rank and enter whatever Ranks you want regardless of any other data.
-MarkThanks Mark. The challenge is that Total Points is not an available field under Update Records, so we can’t manually enter the Total Points as there is no place to enter them.
Upon further review, it’s not an oversight. My users in soccer and hockey really like it that way (because they have ‘standard’ point calculations based on wins, losses, and ties). SO I’ll need to add a setting to control whether or not you want to hand jam points. It’s added to “the list”, but that’s going to take more time. If you need it soon, please contact me via email.
