Adding Scoreboard

Hello All,

I’m Real, a 52 years old audio-video technician and webmaster for a french private high school since the last 28th years.

I’m newbie with this mstw script but it looks like a big fun script for our school spoorts page, so I need help with you please. I got 2 questions to start with today:
1- I add 2 or 3 teams, I created a schedule but when I tried to add or creat a scoreboard in the text box, when I click add, nothing happen, everything stayed there nothing change, and no scoreboard was created or add.

2- How do i set the ticker scoreboard at the top of the page with many sports options like espn top page scoreboard, where you can select the sports.

Thanks for posting here. In the future, please post separate questions as separate threads, it makes it easier for others to find the right thread, and for me to manage them. But no worries for now.

Re your first question: What version of the plugin are you using? I believe there is/was a bug in previous versions and I can send you a patch if necessary.

Re your second question: You just add the shortcode where you want it to appear in your page template. There is an example on the MSTW Dev website. There is a tutorial on styling the scoreboard ticker, which isn’t exactly what you are after but it might help. Two man pages for the scoreboard might also help you.

and my wp version is 4.3

Where do I see the shortcodes of the ticker please ?

There is no specific shortcode for the ticker. It’s an argument to [mstw_scoreboard format=ticker] shortcode. See the man page for more details.
