Hi ,
I am trying to get my leagues to order on points, which works great, then order on goal difference, which doesn’t. The software is great and I am using it for our tabletop game Blood Bowl which is a fantasy game based loosely on NFL.

Wordpress is 4.6.1
Team Manager is 1.4Any help would be appreciated

January 3, 2017 at 7:37 pm #4041Hi John,
Welcome to MSTW!Standings currently sorts on Rank, Points, or Win Percentage. It will only sort on these fields, one at a time. A sort on goal differential, or any secondary sort, is not currently available. I’ve thought about it, besides having the time, I wasn’t sure what secondary fields to sort on. Thanks for the first one. I’m not sure when I’ll get back to League Manager for a refresh, but I’ll add this to “the list”. If you have a time requirement for this capability, please contact me ([email protected]) about a bespoke software patch.

January 11, 2017 at 8:28 am #4060Thanks for the response Mark. Its fine I can work round it , just glad to have something to easily post leagues up with.
I do have another query. I know have several leagues running for different games. I have a couple that when I go to Update records do not seem to save any data to edit, though they do display what I enter. Do you have any simple fix or is it a case of recreating them?
Regards John
January 11, 2017 at 10:50 am #4061Hummm, I have not seen that behavior. Do you see the data on the front end (shortcodes)? Could you send me a screen shot of the admin page (you will new to post it somewhere – your wordpress image library will work — then add a link to it here? And a link (or screenshot) of a frontend display?
Thanks.

I think its something to do with having deleted then recreated the league with the same or similar details cant quite remember.
First image is of a working league that remembers its stats. Second is of one of the two ‘faulty’ leagues. The third is all the leagues I have. Not sure what there is to tell from the images. The link is to the page that displays league Easthills which shows its data fine just not visible on the back end.

January 11, 2017 at 2:57 pm #4064Okay, thanks. Does the front end (shortcodes) work for the broken league(s)?
I will have a look at this, BUT deleting a league could certainly break some things. If you delete a league, then create a new one with the same name, sport, and season(s), you *should* be okay. Otherwise, you could have problems. I suggest you give the league a new name (the slug is what’s important).
