Hello. I purchased the MSTW League Manager Addons plugin. I discovered a conflict with this plugin and the WordPress “editor” role. With the plugin enabled and logged in as a WP editor, you can still edit pages by going to the front-end, finding the page, and clicking “edit page.” However, you lose pretty much all functionality on the back end, as it will only show “League Manager” on the menu bar. If you disable the MSTW League Manager Addons plugin, the problem is resolved. Is there a fix for this? Thank you.
October 12, 2022 at 7:34 pm #6940Hi Adam,
Thank you for posting here. I can repeat this behavior on my test boxes. I believe it is caused by the new admin features added in release 2.9. You can check them out here https://shoalsummitsolutions.com/lm-admin-roles/.It’s interesting that no one has found this, most likely because users log in as an admin, never an editor. (I don’t.) So thank you for bringing it to my attention. I am looking at the code, but I haven’t found the culprit yet. Stay tuned.

October 13, 2022 at 9:01 am #6949Thank you, Mark, for working on this. Yes, we had an editor bring this to our attention or I would have never known about it.
October 13, 2022 at 8:13 pm #6950Hi Adam,
I believe this is fixed. It was what a thought above. It was a one word fix … just needed to find the right word and change it to the correct word. 🙂You can download the patch from the MSTW League Manager plugin page on WordPress.org. Go to the plugin’s page, Developers tab, clink the Browse the code link, click the trunk link, download the
mstw-league-manager.php
file and upload it to your site’scontent/plugins/mstw-league-manager/
directory. Please let me know if that fixes the issue with the WP editor role.

October 24, 2022 at 8:42 pm #6952Hi Mark. I apologize for the delay in getting back to you. I followed the directions but, unfortunately, it did not fix the problem.
October 25, 2022 at 8:55 pm #6954Hummm, something’s up. I will check that I posted the right thing to the development trunk, and I will double check the fix on my dev box. In the meantime, please throw me an email through the shoalsummitsoluions.com website. I will reply with the (correct) patched file.
