When I go in to update the scores of ongoing games in the Update Games tab, not all of the games were showing up. I had to search for them under the Manage Games tab and update them that way, and then once a score was added, they then would show up under the Update Games tab.

I have not seen this behavior. What version of both plugins are you running? (they need to match).

Am I correct that you are seeing all the games you think you should on the Manage Games screen, but not on all of them on the Update Games screen? If so, my first thought would be to check the season. Are you sure you are looking games in the right season? Update Games has a season filter, but Manage Games does not. Then try to filter the Manage Games screen by league. Do all leagues exhibit the same behavior? (Different sets of games for Manage Games vs Update Games?) Can you discern anything about which games are missing? The first games (by date or by when you entered them)? The last games? Or does it appear to be random?

If you can do a bit more investigating, we’ll get this figured out.

I’m currently running version 2.10 on the MSTW League Manager and 2.8 on the add ons, but the add-ons have been deactivated during this issue, because of the other issue I told you about with the add-ons plugin.

The season is correct when I’m having this issue. It seems that there are just some random games on the same date as other games that are not displaying. When I’ve noticed the issue, it almost seems as though the screen “jumps” after I’ve loaded the Update Games tab, and some games aren’t showing up. There are multiple pages of games that are happening on the same day, and whenever I click on a different page of games under that tab, some of the same games from the first page also show up on the second page, and it “pushes down” some other games that were originally on the second page.

I can access all of the games through Manage Games.

Okay. This is very strange. I’m looking but t just does not happen on my dev & test boxes (or anyone else’s or there would be a lot of posts about the issue here). But you are seeing what you are seeing, so let’s go back to the basics and get a bit more info.

        1. What version of WordPress are you running? (Install 6.0 if that’s not installed.)

        2. What version of PHP are you running? (Install 7.4 if that’s not installed.)

        3. What theme are you running? Try changing it to a ‘standard’ WordPress theme (Twenty Twenty One, say). Your site will probably look like crap, but the admin should work fine. Do you still see the problem?

        4. Does this happen for all leagues and seasons, or are there certain ‘problem’ leagues and seasons?

        5. There may be a conflict with another plugin. SO deactivate ALL plugins besides League Manager, do you still see this problem? If not, activate the plugins one at a time until you see the problem again. Which one causes the conflict.

        6. Delete League Manager and League Manager Add-ons. Reinstall the current version of League Manager (only). (You won’t lose your data.) Do you still see the problem?

        7. Having done #5, create a new league and season, and add some games. Do you still see the problem when you Update those games?

        8. BTW, did you create the ‘problem’ games with Manage Games or Add Games? It certainly should not matter, but humor me. 🙂

Let’s hope we find it after all that.
