When I go to add games it is not updating the tables properly.
If I add several games only the first game is added. I then need to go into the manage games function, select and update the game for it to show in the schedule. I noticed the seasons doesn’t seem to be getting updated when the game is added in the add games function.
Any advice?
August 10, 2018 at 6:48 pm #5390p.s. how do i obtain the update of add-ons?
August 12, 2018 at 1:18 pm #5392Hummm, I’m not sure. Last week I used Add Games extensively while testing an upcoming release of League Manager on the MSTW dev site. I had no issues.
I do seem to recall this issue arising before, but I don’t remember exactly what the issue was. I’ll dig around a bit.
Did you receive the duplicate receipt for the LM Addons?

August 12, 2018 at 1:20 pm #5393i did not.
Head scratcher for me as well. Worked great last time.- This reply was modified 6 years, 5 months ago by jpw94.
August 12, 2018 at 1:36 pm #5395Found the post I was thinking of (on the WordPress.org forums). I replied with some questions and never got a response. Don’t know if that means the user found the problem or gave up. So … Try adding one game (using Add Games) to your chosen league and season. What happens? Then try creating a new league (and seaon) and adding a game to it. (Because your chose league/season may be janky.) What happens?
If your debug log is active, check and see what’s in there. If not, activate WordPress debug (see Debugging in WordPress), repeat the above actions, and see if anything is in the log.
Let me know.

August 12, 2018 at 1:40 pm #5396on it.
can you get me the update link just to eliminate that? i had to deactivate it to properly add teams so i’m concerned it might be contributing. thanks.
August 12, 2018 at 1:53 pm #5397What “update link”?
August 12, 2018 at 6:25 pm #5399When I add a single game, the game is created but the season is not assigned.
https://screencast.com/t/psHzeUGZqmAugust 12, 2018 at 6:29 pm #5400if a team is assigned to more than 1 league would that league need to be made “primary” to avoid the aforementioned problem?
August 12, 2018 at 6:37 pm #5401Games can be assigned to multiple leagues. Shouldn’t matter. I suggest you have a look at the HFCC Merged league and it’s seasons on the Leagues and Seasons admin screens. I can think of no case when this should happen, or has happened before.
August 12, 2018 at 6:38 pm #5402BTW, the aforementioned seasons problem will prevent the front end shortcodes from working properly.
August 12, 2018 at 6:45 pm #5403ok. i’ll make a note of that.
i’ve examined the league/season assignment : https://screencast.com/t/fxXmxdQRf5https://screencast.com/t/etcz8vqaCdz
the HFCC Merged league has only 1 season assigned to it.
why is the game posted but not the season in the record?August 12, 2018 at 6:50 pm #5404ok. i added another new season and assigned it to the to the HFCC Merged league and it seems to be working now. very quirky.
August 12, 2018 at 6:53 pm #5405Now back to the multiple games issue. only adds the first game. arggghhhh.
August 12, 2018 at 9:20 pm #5406League and Seasons look okay. I’m working on 4 sites right now. None exhibit the behavior your describing. So something is different with your site.
1. Back to basics: What version of WP? … PHP? … the plugins? … theme and version? Please provide ASAP.2. Deactivate all other plugins and try again. Anything change? If the problem is fixed, you can then activate the plugins one at a time until one breaks it. That will be the source of the conflict.
3. Have you set up debug? The debug log could also offer hints about 1 and 2.
