The MSTW Plugins
The “My Sports Team Website” (MSTW) plugin family supports WordPress-based sports websites. With over 100,000 downloads and growing, the MSTW plugins are in use world-wide and have been translated into a number of languages via the WordPress internationalization (I18n) capabilities .Most of the MSTW plugins may be obtained for free on the WordPress.org plugins page or downloaded from your site’s WordPress Dashboard (plugins screen). Two premium plugins – MSTW League Manager Addons and MTSW Bracket Builder Premium – may be purchased on this site.
Originally conceived to support single sport websites (little league baseball and high school football teams), they have grown to support multi-sport websites (athletic department or school) as well as sports league websites and regional high school sports sites.

The MSTW Framework
The “MSTW Framework” was originally conceived to be a simple theme that integrated the MSTW family of plugins in support of sports team websites After the initial launch, the MSTW plugins’ functionality quickly outpaced framework development due to feature requests from users. Rather that tying users to a single MSTW Framework theme, the focus became increased MSTW plugin integration in support for single-team, multi-team, school, and league websites across varied user themes.

Since the creation of the first MSTW Plugin, support of our plugins and our users has been a huge focus. These support efforts drive the creation of new features in the existing plugins and the creation of entirely new plugins. Two of the first major support efforts were the translation of a scheduling plugin for a basketball team in Split Croatia and an American football team in Barcelona Spain. At the time, I had no idea that the plugins would ever be used outside the US (if at all!) so I learned about the great internationalization capabilities built into WordPress.
We maintain a large library of Users Manuals for the MSTW Family of plugins. Our Gold Support members and purchasers of the paid plugins also have unrestricted access to support forums, video tutorials, and “code snippets” on this site. The tutorials and code snippets are generated by frequently asked questions in the support forums.
