I looked at old forum posts to try and change the single player page so the picture, name and number, and POS HT/WT B/T data all was centered on the page since it was all the way to the left. That was a few days ago and the problem is I’m not sure where I tried to make that change, but the dark blue background color disappeared and everything was still on the left.
As I mentioned before I have no programming experience. The only thing I seem to have done correctly was move a single-player.php file into the correct theme so now I can click on a player from the roster table and it goes to his page. I also added the underline by adding the code (which you helped with), and I adjusted the color of the link by changing it on the Display settings plugin inside wordpress (no coding).
So questions I have are:
When editing the single-player.php which one should I be editing?
/public_html/wp-content/themes/single-player.php
/public_html/wp-content/themes/simplify/single-player.php
/public_html/wp-content/plugins/team-rosters/theme-templates/content-single-player.php
/public_html/wp-content/plugins/team-rosters/includes/mstw-team-rosters-admin.php
Then I’m assuming this is the .css file:
/public_html/wp-content/plugins/team-rosters/css/mstw-tr-style.css
Does one override another one? Any code I change on a specific page by adding shortcode or is that only for the roster table?
Do you use Inspector to see what will happen when you change the code and then when you like what it looks like go into the actual file in your account and actually change it? I changed the color to green (so it would stand out) in the display settings inside wordpress plugin and I can’t see the change when I try and pull up the page on my computer. You mentioned something about the height being 0 so where do I change that?
As you can tell I am in over my head, but I’m hoping to be a quick learner.
