Hi, how do I create a tournament with more than 8 teams?
According to your manual this should be available in the premium version but I can’t find where.Looking forward to your feedback.

November 19, 2021 at 9:48 am #6563Hi Miguel,
My version of the software (Premium version 1.2) shows a completely different field. You can see that on this man page https://shoalsummitsolutions.com/bbp-add-edit-tournament/I’m guessing that you did not install the Premium plugin correctly. The free plugin has to be deactivated and deleted. https://shoalsummitsolutions.com/bbp-installation/
Hope this helps.

November 22, 2021 at 2:34 pm #6564Hello Mark,
The screenshot I posted is actually from your own product page https://shoalsummitsolutions.com/bb-overview/ 🙂
Do you plan on adding more teams to a tournament in the near future?
Best regards,

Sixteen teams is supported in the premium version. I will check, and I may need to update the man page you referenced. If you are not seeing 16 teams (4 rounds) on the Add Tournament screen, you may have an installation problem. Please:
1. Make sure that the basic MSTW Bracket Builder plugin is not present. Only the Bracket Builder PREMIUM version 1.2 is installed and activated.
2. If the basic version is there, please deactivate and delete BOTH plugins, then reinstall and activate the premium plugin only.
Let me know.

I’m sorry, I meant making tournaments with more than 16 teams, not 8. My bad.
Most ideal for a tennis website would be the option for a 32 team tournament.
Do you have plans to implement that in the future? Also, is there a possibility to display an additional (text)field with game scores?
Right now I’ll be using your score system to display the won sets in the match (2-0) but I could use an additional field to display the games per set (eg.: 6-2 6-3).Thanks for the great work so far!
Best regards,
MiguelNovember 27, 2021 at 9:46 pm #6572Hi Miguel,
Thank you for posting your question here. Hopefully it will help some others.Your question about 32 teams has been addressed to some extent in this post
https://shoalsummitsolutions.com/forums/topic/view-32-players-at-brackets/ In short, you can break the tournament up into two 16 team brackets or four 8 team brackets, because that’s really what it boils down to anyway. I originally looked at 32 team brackets (64 actually) and the problem is screen real estate, especially for double elimination tournaments. Thanks for the valuable input.

I can certainly look at adding more scoring info as you describe. This capability is available in the MSTW League Manager schedules, so I’ll look at it when I can get back to Bracket Builder for the next release. As the post above mentions, there’s a real issue with screen real estate when displaying brackets, but the “table” view offers a lot more flexibility.
